What is Spunbond
Polypropylene?

Spunbond is a nonwoven fabric created by bonding 100% pure polypropylene fibres. The result:
  • Durable yet lightweight.
  • Breathable and soft.
  • Versatile for multiple industries.

Available in various GSM ranges (15gsm – 200gsm), widths up to 2.4m, and multiple colours with optional additives (UV, hydrophobic, fire retardant).

Extrusion
Extrusion → Pellets melted and spun into fine filaments.
Filament cooling
Filament cooling → Fibres solidified and prepared for layering.
Web formation
Web formation → Filaments laid into a uniform nonwoven web.
Bonding
Bonding → Heat and pressure fuse the fibres for strength.
Finishing
Finishing → Treated for UV, hydrophobic, or fire-retardant properties.
Winding
Winding → Finished fabric rolled onto large spools.
Conversion
Conversion → Rolls cut, sized, printed and prepared for clients.
Final product
Final product → Durable spunbond fabric ready for applications.
